The fine sandy Diani Beach is located south of Mombasa, on the east coast of Africa, between the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean and the open plains of the Shimba Hills National Reserve. The 25-kilometer-long coastline, pearly white sand and lush green forests provide the tranquil backdrop that defines paradise.

Who would have thought that hidden away on the east coast of Africa, you would find this little gem. The beach is picture perfect, stunning white sand and crystal clear blue sea.

The Almanara Luxury Resort is quietly located amidst the huge palm trees and tropical gardens - with six villas and a spectacular presidential villa. This all-inclusive resort offers guests the opportunity to enjoy 5-star luxury while experiencing the authentic cultures of Africa.

Each of the six spacious executive villas is fully air-conditioned and has 3 double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, as well as a downstairs checkroom. All rooms are individually decorated with local artwork and bespoke furniture.

Personal Chef & Butler Service

Who wants to cook on vacation? Your team of personal chef, maid and waiter are on hand to ensure your every need is met to the fullest. Your chef will provide you with the day's menu for lunch and dinner each morning, while your waiter will be on hand to ensure your glass is never empty so that you, like all our guests, can relax completely.

3 en-suite double bedrooms

Each of the 3 double bedrooms has its own bathroom and is individually air-conditioned. The master bedroom has a lockable safe, separate dressing area and flat screen TV with satellite channels. The master bedroom and second bedroom have a double bed, with twin beds in the third bedroom.

Swimming pool & whirlpool

The centrally located swimming pool blends into the lush gardens between the villas. Soak in the whirlpool, which is inviting in the shade of the tree canopy. The water pool bar offers a wide selection of drinks, including cocktails, cappuccinos and fresh coconuts - or madafoos - as we say in Kiswahili.

Roof terrace

For guests craving privacy, the fully equipped rooftop offers a secluded area where you can relax and read a book, or simply spend the evening stargazing. The rooftop is also a great spot for a sundowner, where you can watch the sun set over the Shimba Hills National Reserve.

Satellite TV & DVD player

While we would prefer that you take a walk on the beach, we have provided you with a flat screen TV in your lounge and master bedroom. There is a personal DSTV (Satellite) box with over 200 channels and a DVD player so you can enjoy our wide selection of movies and documentaries.

Wi-Fi internet access

Free wireless internet access is available in your villa and throughout Almanara. We try to encourage our guests to leave the office at home, but we have created access for those who just can't put their iPad down!
